Diego Portales

This building is located in the centre of Santiago of Chile. It was used by the military junta as its headquarters due to the destruction of the La Moneda Palace caused by the military assault that took place on 11 September 1973. A violent fire destroyed more than 40% of the structure on 5 March 2006.
